Madame, Monsieur,With perspectives of Eelam Tamils Rights NGOs, elected members, and intellectuals network accross the World, have partnered to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Tamil Rights NGOs Network want to take this
opportunities for make awarness on Eelam Tamils Genocide in Sri Lanka. The UDHR, a milestone document in the history of human rights, was enacted by the UN on December 10, 1948. It sets out, for the first time, fundamental human rights to be universally protected.

70 years of progress on Human Rights

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. This simple yet radical idea is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights  The 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which was adopted on 10 December 1948 by the United Nations General Assembly. The Declaration is the key source of inspiration for contemporary instruments and standards of International Human Rights Law all around the world.
