Letter to the U.S. Census Bureau and Department of Commerce

It is with grave concern that we have found that the U.S. Census Bureau is using the American people’s tax dollars to buy services from what can credibly be described as the Chinese Communist Party’s propaganda outlets. We write to you today to encourage you to review this situation and ensure that U.S. taxpayer dollars do not support a government that is fundamentally opposed to the human rights we aspire to.

In November 2018, The Hoover Institution at Stanford University published a report titled “Chinese Influence & American Interests,” which “documents the extent of China’s expanding influence operations inside the United States.”
