In 2019, while no one knew the Shincheonji Church outside of South Korea, Massimo Introvigne, Willy Fautré and Rosita Soryté were studying the Shincheonji Church in Seoul, meeting and interviewing the leader as well as members of that movement.

In the last few weeks, a vast amount of information – both true facts and fiction – has circulated about Shincheonji and its involvement in the coronavirus crisis in South Korea. These researchers have interviewed members of Shincheonji and Korean scholars, and examined documents from both the South Korean government and Shincheonji. They have prepared a 25-page White Paper to help international organizations, the media and other concerned parties to better understand the situation.

This White Paper will be presented during a press conference on 17 March 2020 at 14h at the Press Club Brussels Europe.
