CAP LC and partner organizations submitted a new written statement to the UN Human Rights Council warning that the situation of Konstantin Rudnev had “significantly worsened” and documented critical risks to his health and due process rights. Bitter Winter – An Urgent Humanitarian Appeal Concerning the Case of Konstantin Rudnev
CAP LC joined ten international human rights organizations in submitting an urgent humanitarian appeal to Argentine authorities, warning that the Court of Cassation’s revocation of Rudnev’s house arrest endangered his life given documented medical fragility. The submission identified patterns of prosecutorial bias and called for removal of prosecutors whose conduct was inconsistent with impartiality and due process obligations.
